This document describes our current practices in plain language. It is not legal advice.
This is an agreement between you (or the organization you represent) and Portablemind LLC. If you are accepting on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind it.
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your credentials secure, and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been compromised. Accounts are for a named person and are not to be shared.
You agree not to use portablemind to:
We may suspend access where use threatens the security, integrity, or availability of the platform for others. Where circumstances allow, we will tell you first.
You keep ownership of everything you put into the platform. You grant us only the licence needed to operate the service for you — storing it, processing it, backing it up, and transmitting it to the AI providers that serve your requests. We do not use your content to train models, and neither do our providers. Our Privacy Policy sets out the detail.
You are responsible for having the rights to the content you upload, and for its lawful use.
AI features produce output that can be wrong, incomplete, or misleading. Output is not professional advice — legal, financial, medical, or otherwise. You are responsible for reviewing it before you rely on it or act on it, particularly where an agent has been granted the ability to take actions on your behalf.
Paid plans are billed in advance on the cycle shown at checkout, through our payment processor. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or where we say otherwise in writing. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; cancelling stops the next renewal and leaves access in place until the end of the paid period.
Usage-based charges, including AI token consumption above plan limits, are billed as incurred. We will give reasonable notice before changing prices.
We work to keep the service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may need to take the platform down for maintenance, and we may change or discontinue features. Where a change materially reduces functionality you rely on, we will give notice.
You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these terms, or if required by law. On termination your right to use the service ends; data handling follows the retention section of our Privacy Policy. Ask us before closing an account if you need an export.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Portablemind LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability arising out of or relating to these terms will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
We may update these terms as the service develops. We will revise the date at the top, and give notice of material changes. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law rules. The courts located in Florida will have jurisdiction over any dispute, and both parties consent to that venue.
