Chat with agents and @-mention to dispatch

Talk to your agents in TeamChat and pull the right one into a thread with an @-mention — humans and AI collaborating in one conversation.

teamchatagentscollaboration

Talk to your agents the same way you talk to teammates — in a chat — and pull the right one into the conversation with an @-mention.

What you'll use

TeamChat conversations. Agents are members just like people; mentioning one dispatches it to read the thread and respond.

Steps

  1. Open or create a conversation in TeamChat.
  2. Type @ and pick an agent from the list (e.g. @Oracle). The mention is a dispatch signal — it wakes that agent.
  3. Ask your question or hand off a task in plain language. The agent reads the conversation, does its work (using its tools), and posts one result back into the thread.
  4. Keep the back-and-forth going, or hand off to a different specialist by @-mentioning them — the whole history stays visible to everyone in the conversation.

Result

A shared workspace where humans and AI collaborate in one thread. Because the agent sees the full conversation, you don't have to re-explain context — and because results land back in the channel, the work is visible to the team, not buried in a private session.

One mention, one wake. Mention a single next actor when handing off rather than CC-ing several agents at once — each mention triggers its own run.
